Evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD and overthinking that goes beyond symptom management.

Beyond Just Pushing Through

Anxiety and OCD don’t care how capable or self-aware you are. You can understand exactly what’s happening to you and still find yourself stuck in the same loops. The intrusive thoughts and ruminations. Constant worrying. The overthinking that never ends. Compulsions that consume your headspace.

Knowing isn’t the problem. The problem is that insight alone hasn’t provided a real, lasting solution.

People I Work With Often Describe:

  • Anxiety that disrupts or limits life

  • Avoidance as a strategy to reduce anxiety, keeping the cycle going

  • Intrusive thoughts or obsessions they can’t turn off

  • Compulsions or rituals that take up time and energy

  • Anxiety that spikes around work, health, relationships, or decisions

  • Constant rumination and overthinking

  • Reassurance-seeking that helps for about five minutes

  • A fear that something is fundamentally wrong with them

  • Feeling stuck in the same cycles even though they know better

My Approach Is Direct and Solution-Focused

My approach draws from the most effective, evidence-based methods for Anxiety and OCD: CBT, REBT, and ERP applied to what’s actually driving your specific patterns. Not vague insight. Not feel-good reframes. Targeted work that goes straight to the root.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)

REBT is a form of CBT that works by identifying the core beliefs driving your emotional responses; the rigid rules and demands underneath the anxiety and replacing them with something more flexible and grounded in reality. It’s direct, efficient, and designed to create lasting change, not just temporary relief.

Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is the gold-standard treatment for OCD, recommended by the International OCD Foundation and backed by decades of clinical evidence. It works by systematically disrupting the obsession-compulsion cycle and teaching your brain that it can tolerate the discomfort without resorting to mental or physical compulsions. Over time, the compulsive urge weakens, anxiety reduces. The OCD loses its grip.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is the foundation of everything I do; the most well-researched framework for anxiety and OCD. We identify the thought patterns and behaviors maintaining the problem and work to change them. Directly and effectively.

What Working Together Looks Like

  • We start with a complimentary consultation to talk through what’s going on and whether this is the right fit

  • Early sessions focus on understanding your specific patterns, history, and goals

  • Each session builds on the last; structured, skills-focused, and actionable

  • You’ll leave with something to apply between sessions, not just reflect on

  • All sessions are conducted via telehealth; accessible and convenient.

  • I work with clients across Westchester County, including Scarsdale, Rye, Harrison, Chappaqua, Bedford, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, White Plains, and surrounding communities.
