FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I provide individual telehealth sessions in NY and NJ.

I am in network with Aetna and accept NYSHIP benefits.

For other insurance plans, I provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement.

My private pay fees are $250 for a 45 min session and $300 for a 60 min session, with sliding scale options based on financial need.

Scheduling is flexible, including evenings and weekend mornings.

All sessions are remote, making it easier to fit therapy into your life.

  • I work with humans facing a wide range of challenges including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, low self esteem, depression, emotional regulation, navigating relationships, ADHD strategies, feeling stuck, life transitions and career burnout.

I also work with clients to build confidence, improve communication skills, professional and personal growth and cultivating a life aligned with their goals.

  • The first session is about getting a clear sense of what brought you here and what you’d like to get out of therapy.

We’ll explore what feels most important to you, what might be getting in the way, and what changes you’re hoping for. I’ll ask about what you want me to understand about you; how you tend to approach challenges, what’s felt helpful or not in the past, and what feels most top of mind right now.

It’s an open, collaborative conversation where we get to know each other, answer any questions you may have, and lay the groundwork for the work ahead.

  • It depends on what you’re hoping to work on.

Some clients come in with a specific goal or issue and feel ready to move forward after a few months.

Others want more time to work through deeper patterns or longer-standing struggles.

Because my approach is solution-focused, the goal is always to help you move forward and not to stay stuck in endless talk.

We’ll keep checking in about how the process is feeling and what’s changing, so therapy stays connected to what you actually need.
